Well, there might be more hair on your face, less hair on your head, and more dust in your //e, but you can soon relive the PEEKing and POKEing into the ROM, the manipulation of the machine and the code around it.

We’re working on a universal PCB that will duplicate the functions of the original Senior PROM and allow an auxiliary set of ROMs to be swapped in, be it your standard or enhanced ROMs, another version of the Senior PROM, or your own custom ROMs. In the mid 1990′s we rolled our own version for some custom needs, and now we’re bringing it to you. So think of it as the Senior PROM 4×4. It will be available in kit or assembled forms and compatible with the all versions of the //e. That means that single or dual ROM motherboard, you can party on into the night.

This opens the possibility of a //c version as well, we’ll see what the future brings.

Gotta tune in—pico waves. Gotta tune out—PCB’s
